This website, jaeshomeloans.com, is operated by Jae Hong, a loan officer (NMLS #2244149) with Equity Smart Home Loans (NMLS #856170). In this policy, "I", "me" and "we" refer to Jae Hong. We do not sell your personal information.

1. Information we collect

Information you give us

• Pre-approval form: your name, phone number, email address, what you're looking to do, your timeline, an optional price or loan amount, your preferred way to be contacted, and any message you include.
• Credit authorization form request: your name, any co-borrower's name, email, phone and property address, so I can prepare and email you the form.
• Credit Authorization & Payment form: if you sign and return it, it includes your signature and any card details you choose to provide. It is used only to obtain your credit report and charge the credit report fee, and is shared only with my company and the credit reporting vendor.
• Calls, texts and emails: whatever you choose to share when you contact me directly.

Requests you send through this website are also saved in a private, password-protected dashboard that only I can access, so I can follow up and keep track of your file. Closed requests are deleted automatically after 12 months, and you can ask me to delete yours at any time.

Please don't send your Social Security number, date of birth or account numbers through the form, text or email.

Information collected automatically

• Basic technical data: like most websites, our web host records standard server logs (such as IP address, browser type and pages visited) to keep the site running and secure.
• Calculators: the mortgage calculators run entirely in your browser. The numbers you enter are not sent to us or stored.

2. How we use it

• To respond to your inquiry and discuss loan options with you.
• To contact you by phone, text or email about your inquiry, as you agreed on the form.
• To keep the website working, secure and free of spam.

3. Loan applications

The "Apply" buttons take you to Equity Smart Home Loans's secure online application, which is a separate site. Information you provide in a loan application is collected and protected by Equity Smart Home Loans under its own privacy notice and the federal Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act. Please review that notice when you apply.

4. Services that help run this site

• Web3Forms delivers pre-approval form messages to my inbox.
• hCaptcha helps block automated spam on the form; it processes basic device and browser information under hCaptcha's own privacy policy.
• Google Fonts supplies the website's fonts, so your browser connects to Google's servers to load them.
• Our web host stores the website and its server logs.

These providers only receive what they need to perform their service. We do not sell or rent your information, and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing.

5. Texts and calls

If you ask me to contact you by text, standard message and data rates may apply. You can ask me to stop texting or calling at any time — reply STOP to a text, or just let me know.

6. How long we keep it

We keep inquiry information only as long as needed to respond to you and to meet legal and record-keeping requirements.

7. Security

This site uses an encrypted (HTTPS) connection. No method of sending information over the internet is completely secure, so please avoid sending sensitive financial details through the form, text or email.

8. Your California privacy rights

If you are a California resident, you may ask to know what personal information we have about you, ask us to correct or delete it, and opt out of any sale or sharing of it (we do not sell or share personal information). We will not treat you differently for making a request. To make a request, contact me using the details below.

9. Children

This website is not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information.
